Slidable gate with offset doors

Built on an inclined surface, this slidable gate is capable of opening and closing translating on a double drive chain, which moves the two doors rightwards and leftwards opening at the centre. The doors move on the rail moving on different planes due to the inclination of the road; once closed, the gate seems made up of one large door. Another gate with a one leaf door was built following the same style. This work was entirely designed and built by Bottega del Ferro.
